The Moore County Historical Society will present a program on the Lynchburg Historic District at the Masonic Lodge in Lynchburg on Sunday: November 9 at 2:00 pm. The speaker will be Steve May. He will speak about the current Lynchburg Historic District and what we need to do to maintain and enhance the area. Steve is the the Manager of the Jack Daniel Visitors Center and a member of the Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce. Lynchburg enjoys over a 250,000 thousand visitors a year and the historical area has a significant financial impact on the area. The maintenance of the historical district a joint project of the historical society and the chamber of commerce. The meeting is open to the public and guests are welcome.
